The Irish Independent reports families may have to pay up to €160 more to renew their current plans.
The paper reports some of the more expensive policies could increase by up to €266.
Some existing plans are being scrapped, with the replacement policies likely to cost more.
A number of increases have been announced by three main health insurers since the start of the year.
