Parents are being urged to be vigilant after a number of cases of children overdosing on cannabis jellies.
They're packaged to resemble popular sweet brands and can be ten times more potent than smoking cannabis.
Gardaí are continuing to question two men after a seizure of the illegal sweets at a flat in Dublin 8 yesterday.
The HSE's Clinical Lead on Addiction Services, Dr Eamon Keenan, says they're seeing the edibles more in Ireland;
"It takes a while to kick in and much longer than if for example if you were smoking cannabis and overdose can happen then because you ingest too many of the products, again as I said, they're not regulated you don't know exactly what the content is."
