The leaders of Fine Gael, Fianna Fáil and the Greens are meeting today to finalise a programme for government.
They've agreed to try to cut carbon emissions by 7 per cent every year - a priority for the Greens.
Two thirds of its parliamentary party will need to back the deal for it to get over the line.
Dublin West TD Roderic O'Gorman, a member of the Greens' negotiating team, is confident his party will back.
"We're hoping to see the document at around 12 today.
"The parliamentary party will have about four or five hours to consider it.
"We will be then be meeting as a parliamentary party, and also without our reference group, which is another group of party members that has been giving us support and feedback throughout the process.
"After that sometime this evening the plalimantery party will make a decision as to whether we recommend the document be put to our members for a vote of our entire membership."
