There was an increase of 8.5 million passengers using Irish airports in the second quarter of the year, compared to the same time last year.
More than 9.1 million people passed through the five main airports in April, May and June.
That's 15 times the number using the facilities in the same period in 2021.
However, the figure is still 13% below pre-pandemic levels in 2019.
