Pay Cut Agreed By Government Doesn't Amount To Tokenism According To Green Party Leader

The Taoiseach announced yesterday that Cabinet members and Junior Ministers will take a 10% pay cut.

However because the previous Government waived pay restoration salary increases, it means that despite the pay cut, many Ministers are being paid more than their predecessor.

Minister Eamon Ryan is defending the fact that Micheal Martin's salary is fifteen hundred euro more than Leo Varadkar's was as Taoiseach.
