People are being asked to upload their selfies in a new Face Up to Cancer campaign today.
Breast Cancer Ireland, Breakthrough Cancer Research and the Marie Keating Foundation are joining forces to fund cancer research.
One person an hour is lost to cancer in Ireland, and almost 42,000 new cases of the disease are diagnosed each year.
Breast Cancer Ireland CEO, Aisling Hurley describes how people can take part:
"We're asking them to take a selfie, share it online, make a donation to Face Up To Cancer. In that, they will be making a difference to the lives of so many. When they share the selfie, the selfie will become part of a facial mosaic of leading icons of he cancer world".
