Professor of Psychiatry at Trinity College Dublin Brendan Kelly, says the government as well as individuals can take steps to improve quality of life:
"Well, at the level of the country, it's important that the government does what it can to reduce unemployment, tries to make Ireland, a fair and equal society for all. There's still a lot of work to be done there, at the individual level, the secret of happiness in life is basically to stop comparing ourselves to other people or to other countries, and try to live in the moment, as, as we experience it as much as possible."
