A Status Yellow Rainfall warning is in place for the western half of the country until tomorrow morning, with Met Éireann saying up to 60mm could fall in places.
Cathal Nolan, from Ireland's Weather Channel, says the bad weather will continue for a number of days with further weather warnings expected.
