Petrol prices are at their lowest average prices since September 2021.
According to the AA, diesel prices are down 11% on average in Ireland and Petrol is down 9.8% on average.
It represents a 10.5% average price drop across the board.
Paddy Comyn, the AA's Head of Communications, has the breakdown:
"In bucking the trend we've seen over the year where we've seen them steadily increasing now, our asset prices that we haven't seen for quite some time petrol is our slowest average price in September 2020 was just 1.60 per litre, or these were those lower salvage prices and hopefully week outbreak of the war in Ukraine with their pricing just at 1.74.
