There are plans for nightclubs to stay open until 6 o'clock in the morning.
The Irish Daily Mail reports new laws which would see nightclubs allowed to stay open until 6am are being developed by the government.
The proposals, to extend trading hours past 2.30am, are due before the Oireachtas before the summer recess.
