Prices in Ireland rose by 9.6% in the past year.
That's according to Eurostat, the statistical office of the European Union.
While ten eurozone countries registered double-digit inflation in July, including two of the bloc’s largest economies; Spain saw inflation rise by 10.8%, while in the Netherlands it rose by 11.6%.
German prices rose 8.5%, while France saw 6.8% inflation.
Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia saw inflation of over 20%.
Meanwhile Eurozone energy prices rose by almost 40%.
