Concerns are being raised over the approval of two new data centres in Dublin for Amazon.

Protestors say their construction will have negative effects on Ireland due to the energy crisis.

A protest will take place at the retail giant's office on Burlington Road in Dublin at lunchtime against its worker conditions and environmental practices.

Not Here Not Anywhere spokesperson Dylan Murphy claims conditions at its warehouses aren't good.

"There's an Amazon warehouse that is being built in Dublin. As we've seen throughout the US, the conditions within hese Amazon warehouses they;e not particularly the best.

"So in Dublin there would be concerns about that.

"Progressive International, one of the groups that re leading the charge of the Make Amazon Pay campaign, their main concern would be the tax that Amazon pay."
