A major data breach has resulted in information about every single PSNI officer and staff member being put in the public domain.
The information which included surnames, initials, ranks, work locations and departments was temporarily put online, in response to a Freedom of Information Request.
The Police Service of Northern Ireland has apologised for the self-inflicted security breach.
Liam Kelly from the Police Federation says its not good enough.
"The men and women of the PSNI that I represent are appalled by this breach.
"They are shocked, and justifiably angry.
"They want the PSNI to be very clear about what support they're going to put in for them and the families, so they can limit the damage caused by this data breach and protect their identities."
