The Rape Crisis Network says the waiting times for rape trials are 'not good enough'.
It comes after 5 men received a combined 66-year sentence for the sexual assault and rape of a teenager on St Stephen's Night, 2016.
The then 17 year old was a leaving cert student at the time of the attack and says she's suffered with PTSD ever since.
Cliona Sadlier, CEO of the Rape Crisis Network, says the woman had to wait too long to get justice:
"We've all been hearing about the delays, and delays has been one of the most severe issues for justice in terms of this issue for years now. I know that the state and the state agencies are working very hard on that question, but it isn't good enough. This was five years in the making for her."
