Nearly two thirds of Tinder users are already in a relationship, according to research.
Researchers spoke to 1,400 users aged between 18 and 74 about their motivations for using the app.
They found many choose to stay active on dating apps even if they aren't looking for dates - essentially using it as a social media app.
