The British Prime Minister says he's committed to a negotiated solution on the Northern Ireland Protocol.
Taoiseach Micheál Martin met Rishi Sunak last night to discuss a way forward for the deadlocked talks.
There's renewed optimism a deal can be reached but Government sources won't put a timeline on it.
British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak says he'll play his part in agreeing a solution with the EU:
"We have to recognize that the protocol is having a real practical impact on families and businesses. We need to find a way to resolve those but I'm confident with goodwill and pragmatism that we can find a way through. I had a very positive meeting with the t shirt where we discussed this. I've also met with the European Union earlier this week also to discuss these things and I remain committed to trying to find a way through because we have to."
