The Road Safety Authority have warned road users to be cautious of sun glare ahead of the warm weather this weekend.
It comes after Met Éireann issued a warning for high temperatures over the coming days, with day time temperatures possibly hitting 30 degrees.
Sun glare can result in drivers being temporarily dazzled or blinded by the brightness of the sun.
To avoid this, The RSA is advising drivers to wear sunglasses, and ensure your windscreen is clear of dirt and grease.
