An exclusion zone has been extended in Co. Monaghan after a second case of bird flu in a commercial flock.
The H5N1 strain was confirmed by Department of Agriculture officials on a turkey farm.
Its the second such case in the county this month.
While the risk to the public is low, people are being reminded not to touch sick or dead wild birds and to keep dogs on leashes if walking in a area where there are wild birds.
