Shoppers Paying More For Irish Goods In Ireland Than Customers Buying In UK

Shoppers are paying more for Irish goods here in Ireland, than customers buying the same Irish products in the UK.

A report in today's Sunday Times shows the Irish are paying up to 70 percent more than the UK for things like sausages, tea and yogurt.

The findings will increase concerns that retailers are not giving consumers a fair deal, against the background of the escalating cost of living crisis.
