Sinn Féin has said it's sorry to see the resignation of TD Violet Anne Wynne from the Party.
Deputy Whip Denise Mitchell, said they had been working with Deputy Wynne to resolve local issues.
Violet Anne Wynne left Sinn Féin after what she described as a campaign of psychological warfare against her.
Sinn Fein TD for Cork South Central, Donnchadh O Laoghaire, says he wasn't aware of any issues:
"The first I heard of it now or any issue really was this morning. Look, I'm very sorry to hear Violet Anne's decision. She was a valued member of the team. I liked her myself. She was clever, engaging and curious. My understanding from what I've learned this morning is that the party worked very hard at trying to resolve those issues at constituency level. Like I say, I wasn't really aware of them at all until this morning, but look, sometimes that's just how it goes in politics. So I wish her the best of luck."
