SIPTU members at RTE will hold a protest at the Donnybrook campus at lunchtime today demanding reform within the organisation.
The union says that while staff believe statements made by the new Director General Kevin Backhurst are positive, some still fear for their futures.
Martin Mannion SIPTU Organiser says clarity is needed.
"We hope that in the longer term it's not our members that pay for the actions of senior managers in RTE.
"While there are rumours currently of parts of RTE being sold off, or regional offices being closed - it's only our members who will be penalised for the actions of a few at the top who have led to this whole situation."
