The Social Protection Minister is confident the government will last its full term.
Heather Humphreys was responding to speculation on the stability of the coalition.
It comes as backbench Fianna Fail TDs question Taoiseach Michael Martin's future leadership of the party.
Minister Humphreys insists the government is stable:
"If every bit of speculation turned into a change of leader well, you'll be changing leaders as often as you change your shirt. This is a stable government. We had a vote in the Dáil last week and we had a majority of 19. Our focus is with getting on with the job. We have a budget to prepare, and I'm confident that this this government will go the distance."
