Spending In Irish Grocery Market Dropped By 3.9% Over Past 12 Weeks

Kantar, which compiles the figures, says sales have fallen as life began to get back to normal and indoor hospitality returned.

This year shoppers spent an additional €7.7 million on soft drinks, €664,000 on savoury snacks, and €579,000 on burgers and grilling meats, as people holidayed at home.
