The St. Vincent's Healthcare Group will appear before the Oireachtas Health Committee today.
It faces questions over concerns about the governance and religious influence on the new National Maternity Hospital.
The Cabinet will sign off on the plan tomorrow, and the project will then go to tender after it's approved.
Labour Leader Deputy Ivana Bacik says the Group should put it into state ownership.
"The key issue to be raised with the St. Vincent's healthcare group at today's Health Committee meeting will be the issue about ownership of the site on which the new maternity hospital is to be built.
"And in particular, why the site can simply not be gifted to the state are indeed sold at a nominal sum, that if the intention is for the state to secure effective ownership, then why not put it beyond doubt, and put the site into state ownership?"
