Several family members are boycotting today's pre-inquest hearing into the Stardust fire tragedy.

Dublin Coroner's Court is preparing to examine the deaths of 48 people in a ballroom in Artane in 1981.

The 13th preliminary hearing is taking place in the Store Street Courtroom in the city centre this afternoon.

Antoinette Keegan lost two sisters in the blaze - she says it's an unsuitable venue because it's where the victims' bodies were examined 41 years ago.

"I will not be attending because that place brings back too many raw and bad memories.

"And a lot of the families that I spoke to as well, they just could not put their foot back inside there and I don't know why we've been asked to go in there.

"It's very hurtful and insensitive to be even asked to go back in there were our love ones were identified, where they lay for two three days, until they were identified."
