State May Have To Consider A Redress Scheme In The Wake Of A Report Into Historical Abuse At Scouting Ireland

That's according to a solicitor representing victims of historical sexual abuse in the Association.

A shocking report found a culture of cronyism, credible cases were not reported, while record-keeping was 'chaotic'.

356 victims and survivors have so far approached Scouting Ireland with around 275 alleged perpetrators.
