A status Orange forest fire warning remains in place for all areas across the country this weekend.
The Department of Agriculture issued the warning yesterday, due to low humidity levels, and brisk wind speeds.
The current weather patterns pose a high fire risk in all areas where hazardous fuels such as dead grasses, heather and gorse exist.
People are asked to be extremely vigilant regarding fire activity in rural areas, and to report all fires immediately to the Emergency Services.
