A status yellow rainfall warning has been issued for the whole country, as Electric Picnic gets under way.
The alert will start at 9 o'clock tomorrow night, and run until 12 noon on Sunday.
A pilot drug surrender scheme is being trialled at this year's festival in Stradbally, Co Laois.
Testers on site will examine drugs handed over to see if they are of a particularly strong strain.
Festival director Melvin Benn is keen to stress that people should stay away from illegal drugs regardless.
