Met Eireann says Storm Eunice will track over the country on Thursday night, leading to 'some disruption' along with the possibility of spot flooding in places.
It goes alongside a Yellow wind warning for the country today due to Storm Dudley, which has just come into place until half 11 tonight. Meteorologist with Met Eireann, Emer Flood, says any potential upgrade to status orange on Friday will depend on the direction of Storm Eunice:"For example, if the storm swings a little bit further south that'll mean that the winds won't be as severe, particularly for southern areas. However it would mean that snowfall would be more of an issue and then in the flip side if it tracks more further north there could be more severe wind on southern areas but then snowfall will be less of a hazard."
