The Taoiseach has confirmed Gormanston Army Camp in Co. Meath will open on Monday to house Ukrainian refugees.
It comes amid fears new arrivals could be stranded at Dublin Airport, as the state's accommodation facilities have reached capacity.
Taoiseach Micheál Martin says a number of ministers are working together to create other solutions to the housing issue:
"We will be opening Gormanston on Monday to convene the meeting today of all the relevant ministers with a view to designing the next set of responses to deal with both people fleeing war from Ukraine, but also the international protection issue and the surge in numbers."
