Micheal Martin was speaking at Cork Chamber's Virual Breakfast Meeting where he outlined the Government's strategy in relation to Covid-19 which is to try and suppress the virus so that economic activity can continue
He says the Government is committed to making sure Cork Airport is viable and strong, along with improving Cork's transport links with the ongoing work at the Dunkettle Interchange along with the construction of the M20 Cork to Limerick road
The Taoiseach says the Government is to examine how they can fasttrack Cork's capital projects
