Taxi Drivers In The City Say They're Earning As Little As €10 A Day

Drivers say level three travel restrictions have decimated their industry and are warning that a lack of support for some drivers will lead to many being forced to quit.

The government announced new measures to allow self employed people to claim the Pandemic unemployment Payment in this weeks budget, however taxi driver representatives say the move is not enough to project drivers' jobs.

Speaking to RedFM News at the taxi rank at Kent Railway Station in the city, taxi driver Noel Crean says many drivers are considering parking up their cars:
