A teenage boy, charged with murder has been remanded in custody.
It's in connection with a fatal attack in West Dublin earlier this week.
The teenage boy who is 17, cannot be identified because he is a minor.
He appeared this morning before the Children's Court charged with murder following an incident in West Dublin earlier this week.
Aaron Keating, aged in his 40s, died after the attack on Main Street in Ongar on Tuesday evening.
Gardaí yesterday asked the public not to share footage of the assault on social media.
The teen was accompanied by his parents to the hearing this morning,
The court heard he made no reply when the charge was put to him on Thursday.
Judge Brendan Toale remanded him in custody for one week.
Bail cannot be considered in the Children's Court as it requires a High Court Application.
He'll appear again before the Children's Court next week in person.
