A teenage boy has died and two adults are seriously injured following a collision between a car and lorry in Co. Cavan.
It happened at around 6.30pm yesterday evening on the N3 between Butlersbridge and Belturbet.
The 17 year old was rushed from the scene to Cavan General Hospital where he later died.
A woman in her 50s and man in his 40s are also being treated for serious but non-life threatening injuries.
Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses and especially anyone with dash-cam footage to come forward.
