A teenage boy who was killed in a motorway crash in Mitchelstown yesterday has been named locally as Johnny Foley.
The 16 year old boy from Cork City was travelling in a car on the M8 at Ballybeg with 4 other teenagers who were hospitalised.
The driver of the other car, a woman in her 30's was taken to CUH with serious injuries.
Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
Anyone who may have witnessed the incident or who may have video footage - including dash-cam - is asked to contact Gardaí.
