A 17-year-old boy has appeared in court charged with the robbery of an English tourist in Dublin city centre on Friday night.
The boy, who cannot be named because of his age, is accused of punching the man and taking his wallet on Fownes Street Upper in Temple Bar.
In a hearing before Dublin Children's Court this morning, the accused was granted bail with a number of conditions.
These include a curfew from 10pm to 6am and instructions to stay away from the Dublin 2 area.
He was granted legal aid and will be back in court next month.
