Ireland is set to see temperatures of up to 30 degrees early next week.
Met Eireann says there is plenty of dry and sunny weather to look forward to on Sunday and Monday.
It comes as a major heatwave is set to hit Europe, with temperatures over 40 degrees in many areas.
Climatologist Professor John Sweeney says it's 10 to 100 times more likely to see these events due to climate change.
"The kinds of events we're seeing now in Europe this summer are the kinds of events that are more extreme firstly, than we would have had before we started messing up the atmosphere.
"But they're also events that are going to occur much more frequently into the future."
