Met Éireann has a status yellow high temperatures alert in place until 8 o'clock tomorrow morning.
It could lead to heat stress with a risk of water related incidents and uncomfortable sleeping conditions.
Cathal Nolan of Ireland's Weather Channel is predicting where the hottest parts of the country could be:
"I think the areas of the country that we'll see the hottest weather will the probably parts of northern inland monster, maybe parts of the Midlands as well. I think these areas are the areas that are likely to see the very highest temperatures and the highest temperatures will occur typically between around about 1pm up until about 4pm."
