An "Eggs-traordinary" 60,000 tonnes of waste are expected to be recycled this Easter.

Repak says this weekend will be one of the busiest for waste recovery operators, with 62% of people expected to chomp down on Easter eggs.

A third of people surveyed plan to buy five or more eggs.

88% of consumers admit recyclable packaging is not the most important factor when it comes to deciding what Easter egg to buy.
