It's in order to count the votes for Ceann Comhairle
All 160 TDs are in Leinster House for the first time since the election.
The race for Ceann Comhairle is between Sean O'Fearghail of Fianna Fail and Independent Denis Naughten.
Later there will be votes to elect a Taoiseach - though no one is likely to be successful.
