The health and safety authority has launched an investigation after a man in his 60s died in a workplace accident in Charleville yesterday

Emergency services attended however the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

The HSA was also notified and attended the incident

The man's body was taken to Cork University Hospital where a post-mortem is due to take place.

Garda Press say the county Coroner has been notified.
