A planned work stoppage by Emerald Airlines pilots has been suspended.
In a statement to RedFM News the Forsa Trade Union says that the planned industrial action, which was due to take place over a 24 hour period on Friday, has been temporarily suspended.
Union officials and Emerald Management are due to meet this morning, and in the statement to RedFM News, Forsa national secretary Katie Morgan says the strike action has been suspended to allow for meaningful engagement at the meeting.

Homeowners are being urged to open up their homes to house a student.
The Higher Education Minister says families living in social housing and social welfare recipients can also benefit from the rent a room scheme.
That allows homeowners earn up to €14,000 a year tax free.

The Taoiseach's ruling out the possibility of an early general election.
A vote doesn't need to be called until the Spring of 2025, however there has been speculation the Taoiseach could go the country as early as later this year, or in the first few months of next year.

A man in his 30s remains in a serious condition in hospital after an assault on Dublin's northside.
He was attacked on the Larkhill Road in Whitehall in the early hours of yesterday morning.
He's being treated in Beaumont Hospital this morning for his injuries.
