The Irish Blood Transfusion Service in Cork is urgently asking for regular donors to donate blood.

It comes as a pre-amber alert has been issued due to concerns over a shortage of blood.

Donors with O negative, A negative, B negative and A positive are asked to make contact with the service.

The PSNI have named the man who was shot dead in a social club in West Belfast on Sunday.

49-year-old Sean Fox was murdered by masked gunmen.

The PSNI have described the murder as a 'reckless act' and say 'good fortune' has led to no other injuries or deaths.

Three of the four juveniles arrested in relation to the Cherry Orchard incident in Dublin last month will appear in Court this morning.

The three boys are charged with endangerment of Gardaí.

They'll appear before the Dublin Children's Court at 10:30am.

The Dáil will debate a motion this evening calling for the new concrete levy to be scrapped.

The measures was introduced last week as part of budget 2023.
