The SDLP is proposing changes to the election of a Speaker in the North to unblock the Stormont impasse.
It hopes to end the one-party veto that has, as it says, "frustrated the democratic wishes of the people of Northern Ireland."
The North has been without a government since last May's election, when the DUP refused to re-enter power-sharing because of the Brexit protocol.

Over 1,800 official complaints were made against Gardaí last year.
They include 14 allegations of sexual offences, which were lodged with the Garda watchdog, Gsoc.
But the provisional figures show only 12 breaches of discipline were identified last year.

It was one of a hat-trick of accolades for the Irish film 'The Banshees of Inisherin' which was among the big winners at the ceremony in Beverly Hills.
The movie which was filmed on Achill Island in Co. Mayo also won Best Picture - Musical or Comedy and Best Screenplay for writer Martin McDonagh.
