The party has raised concerns about management of the health service after leaks from a recent meeting of senior officials.
A Business Post article suggested there are concerns at how money is being spent and 'fake' targets for recruitment being set.
Social Democrats co-leader Roisin Shortall says senior health officials who aren't doing a proper job should be let go:
"Critically in that regional restructuring, there would be legislation introduced to ensure accountability for the provision of services and the spending of budgets, because there is no accountability within the HSE at this stage."
