Belfast and Dublin have fantastic track records when it comes to organising major cycling events according to a former Tour de France winner.
Stephen Roche has welcomed the news of a joint bid between the Republic and Northern Ireland for three full stages.
It’s hoped the race will begin with it’s so called ‘Grand Depart’ on this island.
