The Regency Hotel murder trial has heard records relating to a tracking device placed on Jonathan Dowdall’s jeep have been found on a secure desktop computer.
Last week, the judges were told the data had been destroyed.
It is the prosecution’s case that Dowdall, who was jailed last month for facilitating the murder of David Byrne, drove up north with Gerry Hutch to meet some Republican contacts.
The journeys to Northern Ireland are alleged to have happened in the weeks after the shooting and the court has already heard their conversations were secretly recorded.
Mr Hutch is on trial for the murder of David Byrne, who was shot dead during a boxing event at the Regency Hotel in Dublin in 2016.
He denies the charge.
