After what was called a "false start" yesterday, Gerry Hutch’s trial is due to resume before the Special Criminal Court.
He’s accused of murdering David Byrne, who was shot dead at the Regency Hotel in Dublin in 2016.
This trial is now back in its original home after moving to an alternative courtroom to accommodate the testimony of Jonathan Dowdall.
Yesterday the judges were told it could be finished in two weeks.
And the prosecuting barrister, Sean Gillane SC, offered his apologies for what he described as a “false start.”
A Garda witness was not available... and the 3 judges were told about a "curious development" which required further evidence to be disclosed to the defence.
It is said to primarily concern Gerry Hutch.
The prosecution was only in a position to recall three witnesses yesterday before the trial finished up for the day.
Thye were Gardai who were asked to confirm certain parts of their evidence.
