The company has two stores in Cork at Mahon Point shopping Centre and Wilton Shopping Centre, however it's unclear if those stores will be impacted by the closures.
TUI estimate that up to 900 staff will be affected and say they plan to move around 70% of them to other roles including working from home.
The German based company also has stores in Waterford, Limerick, Kilkenny and Dublin.
