Tusla are looking for "open-minded" carers to take in children who are seeking international protection.
The agency has 54 separated children from overseas in their care, with 15 unaccompanied minors from Greece set to arrive in Ireland this month.
The week-long campaign by Tusla is the first of its kind.
Director of Integration Kate Duggan describes the ideal carer.
"We need individuals and careers who are open, open to divers ethnic backgrounds, diverse cultural backgrounds, diverse religious and language backgrounds.
"We will provide support to the foster carers that they need in engaging with these young people, and with the young people themselves."
